As the title of this review states, this keyboard here is a hidden gem. I don't really think Attack Shark and the team behind this board understand what they have created, and if they do they are doing a damn good job at making top of the line equipment that is budget friendly. But don't take that word to heart, because this board is anything you'd expect at a premium board, but for some reason it's very fair to the budget. Attack Shark and the team have absolutely blown my mind with this, I didn't know what I expected, but definitely not this. Let me explain here:The Switches:The Stock Switches installed in this board are absolutely amazing, not only are they smooth with absolutely no scratchiness to them whatsoever, they sound amazing as well. They provide a nick 'clack' that I used to find myself searching for, so for me this is perfect, and for you if you too like clacky boards! Not only do the switches have the shortest travel distance of any magnetic switch I have tried at only 3.4mm! Which can in turn, help with the next key actuation even faster, but they are equipped with a 0.1mm actuation (once set in the driver) and rapid trigger, continuous rapid trigger, and 0.01mm rapig trigger technology. These switches are not to be overlooked, I would personally argue they are the best developed and feeling switches within the Magnetic Keyboard Market.Performance:The performance of this board is, in my honest opinion, unrivalled. I have tried many magnetic switch keyboards. From the Apex Pro's (gen 1-gen 3) to the Razer Analogs, and even the 'benchmark' Wooting Keyboards. Both the Wooting 60HE+ which used to be my daily driver, to the Wooting 80HE which I returned not long ago due to the horrendous layout. And, the best way I could describe this without getting very technological and too confusing. Imagine the Wooting 60HE+ and Wooting 80HE had a baby, that is this layout, which for me is absolutely perfect for a combination of typing and gaming both within competitive esports, and single player titles. Now, I dont even know how i would describe the switches, they are absolutely amazing sounding, feeling, and just all around perfect. You must try these to understand!Latency:As described, it is indeed true 8000hz polling. Just make sure you have a CPU capable of running an 8000hz device as well as gaming, and if already running an 8000hz mouse, make sure you have a CPU that can run multiple 8000Hz devices as they are pretty CPU hungry. Not very noticeable on good equipment, I dont notice a thing, but i cant speak for anything less than a Ryzen 9 5950X, as that is what I use for both my mouse and keyboard. It is way more responsive, and faster, than the Wooting 60HE+.Conclusion:All in all, this board has really made me rethink a lot of things I thought I already did know about magnetic keyboards which were, you can only get a top board while paying a premium, you will have issues with the 'cheaper boards' such as latency issues, switch issues, etc. But no, none of that is prevalent on this board, and i can safely argue that with all of my various tests done with all of my other equipment, and boards, this is indeed the fastest. I would hurry up and buy quick while its cheap, because once they realise what they have, don't be surprised if the prices rise. Truly well done to Attack Shark and the team for not only making a solid product, but a product that is on par, if not better than the 'big dogs' in the magnetic switch keyboard market. Truly amazed.
